New Research Associate for the Advanced Engineering Business Acceleration Hub

The Advanced Engineering Business Acceleration Hub (AEBAH) has confirmed the appointment of Dr Kyriakos Kallis, as the newly appointed Research Associate for the business acceleration programme. The AEBAH is funded under the EU European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and provides free business support to start ups and SMEs in Advanced Engineering in the Automotive, Maritime, Aerospace, Energy, Defence and Space sectors.

Celebrating three years of accelerating social enterprise and innovation

On 26 November we held a Celebration and Showcase for the Programme at the Guildhall. This followed a larger scale event at We the Curious in Bristol on 21 October, entitled The New Western Frontier, for over 300 delegates from the social enterprise network. Meet SETsquared Bath's interim Centre Director

Brian Prescott is the new Centre Director at the University of Bath’s SETsquared Innovation Centre and Entrepreneur in Residence for the ERDF Advanced Engineering Business Acceleration Hub. 

A Mancunian, his early career followed a science degree and began in sales with Duracell. Frustration at the lack of opportunity spawned a move to London, where Brian joined the rapidly-growing PKFA hotel management consultancy becoming the Firth’s youngest ever consultant before moving into marketing with Trusthouse Forte.
