SETsquared Bath member services
The SETsquared Partnership creates bespoke packages of support to help your business become a viable, profitable and thriving business. Support includes Business Review Panels, one to one mentoring and investor readiness training. Beyond the centre staff, members are supported by Entrepreneurs in Residence, Mentors and in-residency professional services.
Entrepreneurs in Residence
Our Entrepreneurs in Residence (EiRs) are professional business advisers who have started their own businesses, often a number of times, and raised finance. When you join us you are allocated a dedicated EiR to support you.
Professional in-residency services
A range of member services are bookable online using the Acuity platform below.
You can also book a session with our Investor in residence and our Grant Writer in residence by emailing us.
We recommend booking an hour, especially if it’s your first time meeting, which can be done by booking two 30 minute slots. Remember to include the reason you’re booking a meeting so that the expert can prepare in advance.

Investor in Residence
Tim Morgan of SouthWestern Venture Capitalists is an early stage micro-VC backing the most ambitious founders in the South West of England. Tim is currently available to provide his expert advice on an ad-hoc basis at the Innovation Centre in Bath.
Grant Writer in residence
Kate Fryer has experience of writing successful bids, facilitating evaluations and drafting grant funding calls. She can offer you an insight that will give you more clarity on how best to approach writing and presenting your bid. Kate can help to identify a funding call, provide oversight and 'hands-on' support to writing your bid. Members and Business Acceleration Hub participants can schedule a 30 minute or 1 hour slot with Kate by emailing us.
Members can use the Acuity booking platform below to book a session with our Lawyers, IP Advisers, Accountants and Tax Advisers.
Mentors
We highly value our mentor network. Mentors are experienced founders and business professionals who provide their expertise on a pro bono basis. A mentor will usually act as a coach and facilitator rather than a decision taker. Although, if the relationship works well, ventures may want to develop the mentor's role into a more formal management, board or advisory position.
