Here at SETsquared Bath we find ourselves predominantly surrounded my men. It’s known that there are less female entrepreneurs and women business owners in general but when you add technology, digital innovation and engineering to the mix we know we need to do more to encourage, engage, support and celebrate the women in our industry. We work hard with the University of Bath to encourage more female students to embark on entrepreneurial journeys whilst studying and listen to our female students to learn more about their needs to be able to shatter more glass ceilings in male dominated industries.

Medium to high-level digital skills – to build on skills interventions and assets in the region to create a multi-partner approach to deliver short, innovative, bespoke training courses addressing digital skills gaps.

The Bounce Back Loan top-up will be available from several large lenders, with other lenders anticipated to make the top-up available in due course.

Read MoreThe Sustainable Technologies Business Acceleration Hub (STBAH) has confirmed the appointment of Dr Laurent Perge as the newly appointed Research Associate for the business acceleration programme. Dr Laurent Perge takes over from Dr Jason Camp who had held the post for 2 years.
Laurent will be responsible for continuing to build the relationships between SMEs and the University of Bath, which will involve undertaking technical business development and engagement activities as well as research project development associated with the programme.
