Advanced Engineering Digital Innovation business support programme extended
The Advanced Engineering Digital Innovation Business Acceleration Hub (AEDBAH) offers bespoke business support and coaching to help innovative companies in the West of England achieve their potential. The support is fully funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The project was launched in 2018 to help establish and help scale-up over 230 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) over a three year period within certain sectors.
Following a recent request to extend the programme, we are delighted to confirm that we have received confirmation that a 6-month, no cost, extension has been granted and the end date of the programme will now be 31st October 2021.
Since the programme launched we have been supporting a number of enterprises, across the sectors, with 140 businesses having already completed the support programme and many more participating. The support is bespoke and can be in the form of business mentoring, some of these companies have received financial support and some we are working with on research projects through the University of Bath - enabling some of these enterprises to bring new products to market.
The extension of the programme is welcome news as this will benefit start-up and early stage companies gain access to this invaluable programme and support entrepreneurial growth in the region.
The sectors include (but is not limited to); automotive / aerospace / defence / maritime / energy and space and also Digital Innovation in the social care, residential care, human health and wellbeing, audience engagement, creative media, AR/VR and Immersive Technology.
Anyone interested in utilising this free business support should submit an application using the form online which can be accessed here, where detail of the criteria to participate is also highlighted.
