DBAH Case Study | Meet NutriDART

The University of Bath has been awarded £1.5 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to deliver start-up, scale-up, open innovation and investment support to grow innovative businesses in the West of England.

SETsquared Bath is the delivery partner for business acceleration services across the programmes, with one of these being the Digital Innovation Business Acceleration Hub (DBAH). Startup company, NutriDART have recently completed their fully-funded business support on the DBAH programme and we invited them in as a case study.

We're very proud to announce that SETsquared Bath member and one of this year’s Graduate Innovation Award winners, Neuro Ai, has been selected for the next batch of Plug and Play's Innovation Platform. The program involved an initial 1000+ companies being reduced to a select 30. These 30 pitched at the Plug and Play Tech Centre in the Bay Area, and the final batch of 15 were selected of which Neuro Ai made the cut!

Congratulations to Naturbeads, current participants of our Business Acceleration Hub who has just secured over £580k investment for their biodegradable alternative to microplastics.

Over the last 12 months Naturbeads has been supported by our pool of business experts whilst working from the University of Bath’s Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies to develop their cellulose microbeads.
