As the business develops, our business models and business activities has become more complex. Besides, we understand the lab single-use plastic waste problem is less well-aware by the general public, so we decided to create a compelling animated video to provide information in a clear and concise manner, and to enhance the effectiveness of the marketing process

There are many ways to create an animation explainer, and we decided to recruit an animator on Fiverr to make it look more professional. The workflow was quite straight-forward. Firstly, we put out an advert on Fiverr which stated our requirements for the video. Next, animators who came across our advert got in touch and gave us a quote. After comparing a few of them, we decided on our animator and put together a script with clear instruction on what animation effects we would like. We also attached a few diagrams and required them to be converted into animation. Worth mentioning, it is important to make sure the script is correct in the first place, because the animator might not be able to change the voice-over at the later stage. It might take several days to get the video made, depending on the animator. When the draft was ready, we gave feedback and requested adjustments where needed. Finally, the payment came through when both parties were happy. 

Overall, we were quite satisfied with the experiences and outcome. If you would like to create an animation video but not sure where to start, I hope our experiences can help you.
