Join the Sustainable Technologies Scale-Up team and a panel of experts for this online breakfast networking event.
The vision of a circular economy is inspiring businesses and environmentalists to take action, and it is becoming a hot topic in the urgent pursuit of curbing waste and global warming. But what is a circular economy and how effective can if be at cutting carbon emissions?
Transitioning to a circular economy does not only amount to adjustments aimed at reducing the negative impacts of the linear economy. Rather, it represents a systemic shift that builds long-term resilience, generates business and economic opportunities, and provides environmental and societal benefits.
We’ll be joined by Professor Dimo Dimov a renown academic from the University of Bath, who will provide his insights on how a transition to a circular economy is happening and what the future challenges are. This will be followed by a panel discussion from founders who will give an industry perspective.
