About this event

Social Value is an umbrella term for the wider economic, social and environmental effects created by organisations. Organisations which make a conscious effort to ensure that these effects are positive can be seen as adding social value by contributing to the long-term wellbeing and resilience of individuals, communities and society in general.

Join Stacey & Sarah from Creativity Works for two short, interactive sessions [delivered over Zoom] to learn more about social value and impact for small and medium sized businesses [and voluntary sector organisations], how to embed it within your organisation, and how to demonstrate it to win bids.

Who is this for?

These workshops are for small and medium sized organisations based in Bath and North East Somerset.

What is involved?

Session 1: 14th October 8.00-10.00

• Find out more about Social Value & Impact [including UK Legislation and Policy as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals]

• Listen to some case studies of businesses in Bath successfully delivering significant social value

• Think about where you are now and how you currently deliver social value

Session 2: 21st October 08.00-10.00

• Consider how you can 'plan for impact'

• Start to develop your own plan for embedding social value into your organisation through practical, creative exercises

• Learn about how you can authentically communication your impact

What is the anticipated outcome?

The outcome will be that you leave the sessions with the outline of a plan to embed social value within your organisation to create a positive impact, for the wider economic, social and environmental benefit of society.
