After a year of optimising our working prototype and AI-models, in November we decided to set ourselves the ambitious goal of transforming our MVP into a fully-useable beta app, ready to be rolled out to our waitlist in early 2023.

We are super excited to share that we have begun rolling out the beta privately to our waitlist (which you can join here)!

This was a huge milestone for Epowar - there is a lot involved in transforming a proof-of-concept into a feature-rich application. We needed to make important UX decisions, design the corresponding screens, build the app (for both watch and phone) and then integrate this with our proprietary technology.

As well as building the app, we’ve been getting Epowar consumer-ready. For example, we worked with a cyber consultant to enhance the security of our infrastructure, worked closely with a corporate lawyer to write strong and comprehensive terms and have implemented the “evidence package” feature which means that, whenever our system detects an attack, we automatically start recording and sending evidence directly to the cloud and then compile this into an “evidence package”, which is automatically sent to the user.

In terms of next steps, we are currently fundraising so that we can expand our team and invest in marketing the product. Thanks to the SETsquared pitching event, we have already secured a few investors to join the round, and are hoping to close in the coming months.

It’s been a hectic month, but we’re super excited about the next phase!
