Do you have a project on the back burner that our students could tackle for you?

This SETsquared Partnership initiative aims to boost industry by enabling skilled students to take up industry placements and foster growth and development. The initiative known as IKEEP is an Intrapreneurial Knowledge Exchange Enterprise Pathway. IKEEP is a £2million programme that launched in September 2020 as part of the SETsquared Partnership (Global #1 Business Incubator) involving the universities of Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Surrey, part funded by the Office for Students.

What is IKEEP?

The programme connects interdisciplinary and some multi-institutional student teams with regional organisations to enable high quality knowledge exchange. The programme is designed for students (both undergraduates and postgraduates, from any discipline) to engage with industry on knowledge exchange projects as business advisors, developing business model solutions and market awareness whilst enhancing student’s skills as intrapreneurs/change makers and future employees. 

The SETsquared IKEEP programme, led by SETsquared Exeter, provides businesses with fresh perspectives and skills, by matching businesses with teams of proactive students to tackle innovative project briefs through placements. These knowledge exchange opportunities enable regional businesses to develop and grow, while honing the talent of future graduates. 

How do we get involved?

Placements run across four weeks and are typically hosted remotely. Placements are due to be held in November 2021, February 2022 and June 2022. You will be assigned a team of 3-4 students who have been specifically matched with your project based on their skills and preferences. Key Dates

The next placement rounds are due to take place in November 2021, February 2022 and June/July 2022. We recommend submitting a brief no later than four weeks before the placement round is set to begin.
