Bath SETsquared hosts delegation of Chinese investors from Index Education
We were delighted to welcome a delegation of Investors and Directors from China who are looking for collaboration opportunities in the UK. Among the companies presenting their ventures were Bath SETsquared supported EZ Education, Mayden Academy and Bristol SETsquared supported Nano Simbox.
The SIETG (Sower International Education & Tech Group) has developed educational resources worldwide through cooperation with overseas colleges, universities and education groups including the University of Bath. Delegates included the Editor of a Chinese Education Media Company: UKEduWeekly and the Managing Director of the QTone company who run 5000 education centres across China.
The Sower Group also has an investment arm through SowingX Capital and has supported a number of early stage edtech ventures including Bath SETsquared supported company Kinderley. Billy Xu who coordinated the visit on behalf of the delegation invited edtech startup companies to get in touch via Bath SETsquared as they welcome introductions from ventures who are looking to expand into the Chinese market.
