RESOURCES: West of England Growth map

If you are start up or growth company and asking ‘What’s going on in the West of England?’, or you meet newcomers to entrepreneurship or to the region, you might want to signpost them towards the Growth Map, created by Rocketmakers and Engine Shed and funded by WECA’s Growth Hub. There’s even an augmented reality (AR) app in the app store to download too.

This is a valuable addition to the The Scale Up Generator that maps scale up support, companies and insights into the challenges of scaling up in the West of England. This resource has been created by the Scale-up Enabler at Bristol’s Engineshed, Briony Phillips with the aim to:

• Invigorate the investment ecosystem in the region and improve access to finance

• Inspire founders and aspiring scaleups

• Invigorate and build the profile of the region as a home for successful scale-up companies
