Student Assistant - Data

 
 

Enterprise Bath is looking for a student to assist with data processing. The successful candidate will collect and collate data from our entrepreneurial community and work on an ongoing research project led by a lecturer.

Duties will include:

  • Data manipulation, cleaning, and wrangling

  • Connecting and merging datasets

  • Designing and creating infographics

  • Conducting research on data sources and storing data in a systematic way

  • Assist with the ongoing research project

  • Assist with the events organized by Enterprise Bath

  • Provide data analysis support

Requirements:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Bath, with a focus on Data Science or related field

  • good skills in data manipulation, cleaning, and wrangling

  • Strong computational skills, particularly Excel

  • Good understanding of data visualization and infographics design

  • excellent skills in collecting data from different sources and storing it in a systematic way

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Passion for entrepreneurship and desire to help others succeed

  • Ability to manage workload including your studies and other commitments

Pay: £12.78ph inc holiday pay. We are flexible if you have any holidays booked.

The position is part-time, with an estimated time commitment of up to 10 hours per week, but this can vary. We operate a hybrid working model and are flexible on the person working on campus, from the Innovation Centre and/or remotely.
