Student Assistant - Data
Enterprise Bath is looking for a student to assist with data processing. The successful candidate will collect and collate data from our entrepreneurial community and work on an ongoing research project led by a lecturer.
Duties will include:
Data manipulation, cleaning, and wrangling
Connecting and merging datasets
Designing and creating infographics
Conducting research on data sources and storing data in a systematic way
Assist with the ongoing research project
Assist with the events organized by Enterprise Bath
Provide data analysis support
Requirements:
Current undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Bath, with a focus on Data Science or related field
good skills in data manipulation, cleaning, and wrangling
Strong computational skills, particularly Excel
Good understanding of data visualization and infographics design
excellent skills in collecting data from different sources and storing it in a systematic way
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for entrepreneurship and desire to help others succeed
Ability to manage workload including your studies and other commitments

Pay: £12.78ph inc holiday pay. We are flexible if you have any holidays booked.
The position is part-time, with an estimated time commitment of up to 10 hours per week, but this can vary. We operate a hybrid working model and are flexible on the person working on campus, from the Innovation Centre and/or remotely.
