The ISCF Manufacturing Made Smarter Challenge aims to inspire digital technology innovation to deliver a connected, resilient and agile industrial landscape – resulting in a significantly more productive and environmentally sustainable UK manufacturing sector.  Given the recent disruptions and challenges, it is vital we innovate to create a more efficient, productive, flexible, resilient and sustainable UK manufacturing supply chain.

Through the challenge’s upcoming digital supply chain competitions, UK businesses can apply for a share of funding for feasibility studies and/or industrial research projects to research and develop innovative digital solutions to enable integration and optimisation of manufacturing supply chains to achieve these goals.

Workshops

We are running a series of workshops in partnership with Innovate UK to:

  • Explore opportunities for using digital solutions to improve and re-engineer existing manufacturing supply chains

  • Explore opportunities for using digital solutions to design new supply chain solutions

  • Help collaborators develop their applications for the Manufacturing Made Smarter supply chain competition.
