In order for us to put you forward for our mentor matching event, Speed Dating next month we need to hear about your business idea!

This the first core submission we require of those taking part in the Entrepreneurship Programme.

What is required?

1. Your business idea in no more than 250 words

2. Your business idea summed up in a short sentence

In what format?

An email is fine at this stage. You can send it to Siobain at enterprise@bath.ac.uk.

When is the deadline?

The deadline to send us your business idea is Wednesday 28th October at midnight (00:00 BST) but we will be reading them as they come in so the sooner the better.

What if I’m not 100% sure I want to commit to the programme yet?

Come along to our drop-in Q&A at 4pm on Wednesday 28th if you would like to ask any questions about the programme. Then you still have time to send us your business idea if you decide you would like to take part.

If I send you my business idea but then decide I don’t want to take part in the programme can I withdraw at a later date?

Of course! You can take part in as little or as much as you like but if you would like to be awarded the SETsquared Partnership Entrepreneurship Programme Certificate then sending your business idea to us is a core requirement. Alternatively, you can always come back to us next year.

Can I still be matched with a mentor if I don’t send you my business idea?

No. We require this information to enable us to have the correct number of mentors available to you with the right skills and experience. Sending us your business idea shows you are committed to the programme and allows us to work with you to develop your idea.

Is this a core module that is required for me to receive the SETsquared Partnership Entrepreneurship Programme Certificate?

Yes, this is a core submission requirement.
